Last year I tried an idea I'd read about, put a bunch of the organs in about an 8gal. Bucket, topped it off with water & put the moosecicle out with a dozen snares around it...lots l of birds, but never a dog came in... I decided it was way too much work dragging that 80lb block of ice a mile into the woods. I haven't seen any k9 tracks in my area this year... I still have half of a caribou carcass to put out somewhere, so didn't think It'd keep the whole moose carcass. April of last year I was trying to get 200lbs of rotten moose out of my yard. crazy

(edit: autocorrect sucks sometimes)

CB: I don't see any dimensions for the floor plan. That is not enough insulation in the floor. Wall studs should be 2x6 on 24" centers. I don't see any insulation specs for the walls or ceiling (might have missed it though.) 2x6 0r 2x8 is not adequate for floor joists in living area depending on footprint of the building. Those same members are overkill for rafters if trussed and spacing can be 24" rather than 16".

There's more wrong with the description but someone that was willing to price this would need to know where it was going to be built and whether utilities are onsite. I guarantee you, it will cost more than you think it should.

YK:
I have been using nothing but point and shoot camera's because I'm to cheap to spring for a high dollar DSLR. I use a Canon SX10IS that is several years old. It has 20x optical zoom and was $319 when I bought it. That kind of optical reach in a good DSLR will be ten times that. It is a little big for pocket carry on the line but has held up to some good punishment and a wide range of weather.
I also use a Sony pocket size HX5V because it has GPS built in that I can mark trap sites with. You can buy all the high dollar gear you want but if you don't have it with you when you need it your passing gas.
I think the ideal outback rig would would have all the features of the HX5V above plus waterproof. I found out mine isn't waterproof when I fell in the river with it. Sony fixed it for nothing and sent it back but its been stuck in the village for months.

Your moose must be doing well to get two, it's got to be 30yrs since we could get two and one a cow.
