Good job! I'd never have guessed they had teeth like that. I'll have to save the next good skull, thats pretty cool!

very nice! did you do that with those dermestid beetles and bleach or just boil it or what? I have two nice Bobcat skulls I want to do.

I cleaned a bobcat this summer that I killed last winter. Kept the skull in the freezer. First put it out in the barn in a cage to keep the rest of the varmits off it until it appeared it was going to dry out before the maggots could finish it (2 days). Them I put it in a small container of water and kept the whole thing barely covered with water. The container was just big enough for the skull to fit in. Next time I checked it the water was boiling with big white maggots big enough for fishing bait. Kept adding water as needed to keep the skull covered until there were no more maggots. When I took it out it was completely clean, inside and out. Rinsed it then soaked it for 3 days in 1/3 hydrogenperoxide and 2/3 water. Glued the teeth in and it looks museum quality.
