The cool down really had the canines moving on my line today. I see fox 3 or 4 times a yrs and haven't got a coyote in 5 yrs today I shot one fox that walked up to 50 yrds while taking a porky out of an otter set and saw two coyotes one going out one coming home and they both got away but now I know I have a few on the line this year.

Yeah, I've been working during the meetings. After next week my work week will slide a day to Wed-Saturday 5pm to 3am, then I'll be able to make the meetings.

Quite sure its the vixen and every once in awhile one of what we think is her kits comes along and you wouldn't believe what terror she turns into running it off. Not willing to share her welfare system with anyone.

Sweet pic.
I have it as my back ground on this PC, hope you don't mind.

I have no problem with anyone using them non-commercially. There are invisible watermarks to prove ownership. Amazing where I have found copies of my photo's.

TOPIC FOR TODAY:

Those new electric cars and usability for drivers in Alaska.

The car companies have been promoting the development of new electric cars. They say that it would cost an average of $1.50 per day to run .

1. What would they cost to run in AK taking into consideration Alaska's Lowest to Highest electric rates for residential usage ?

2. What would the battery life be in extreme below zero temperatures ?

3. Would the supposed cost savings for electric power be greater than the cost of the vehicle to make the purchase worth it ?

Let the debate begin !!! grin grin

I think I'll see a bunch of them here. Very small road system, and a town full of liberal Greenies!

Just doing what I want now.

And cheap Hydro power to plug into when the avalanche's don't take out the transmition lines. I bet you see a ton. Though I would love to hear them howl when you have to go on the generators like a a few years ago.

Matter of fact, they just got an experiamental rate there for the first 10 folks who want to have an electric car charging station in there house.
I think the rate right now in Juneau is the cheapest in the state at 9 cents kWh.

Plus Juneau, you could drive your car out to Romeo's gravesite and back home without it running out of juice.
