Matter of fact, they just got an experiamental rate there for the first 10 folks who want to have an electric car charging station in there house. I think the rate right now in Juneau is the cheapest in the state at 9 cents kWh.
Plus Juneau, you could drive your car out to Romeo's gravesite and back home without it running out of juice. Oh, Romeo, Romeo: where for art thou Romeo???

Stunning that Juneau has such cheap electric rates! That is because they get to take advantage of nearly 100% hydro power generation. No cheaper power than old hydro. And don't tell the people in Juneau how cheap their power is... it is "proposed to go up" to like 11 cents kWh, and a lot of those people will have to move somewhere that they can "afford" the electricity.... Everyone is for all 100% green energy, until their rates go up.... then it is a whole new ball game.. "What?? Green energy costs more?? that isn't fair..."

AELP is going to get 15 cents per KWH, thanks to the regulators. Affordable, yes, but not cheap for hydro anymore.
Just doing what I want now.

Yukonjeff, do you pretty much skin your lynx like marten, no paws? Those are really nice looking fur! Is that 9 lynx there?
About the electric cars in alaska, I think that benefits not us consumers but the electric company and the battery dealers for the cars. Just my thoughts on that. Wouldn't the batteries just totally go ka-put?
Nick Thanks Nick..yes I do lop off the paws, like marten....and there is 13 not 9 Merry Christmass Bob

OB: We use the same sorting method. First pass all obvious junk goes in the burn pile. Second pass you get the more subtle junk then you can get down to the actual mail. Amazing what you accumalate over time. No bad news this time and no bills. The bride and I were up to 3am this morning like two kids under the Christmas tree. Saved a couple Christmas packages from friends a will decide when Christmas is after we get all the broke crap repaired. Got to find a cross country route for the next trip as I won't do that river like that again. My sled is pretty well trashed. When the river freezes smooth its like a interstate highway but this was the roughest I've ever seen it.

Decoy: Here is a couple different views of the pull sled. That ABC plastic has lasted a lot of years and I thought it was indestructable. The river was really rough and I was never over 10 mph. OM: I thought the rain would smooth it out also but it was really bad. Have never seen it like that. I think it was the big tides and the high winds during the cold spell that did it.

Bob the tides have made some spots ugly here the big ones were all over 20 feet this week. You really beat that sled up good
