I always carried a used shotgun shell and kept a length of fuel line for siphoning when my fuel was to low to get the shell in tank with a leatherman. When I was having problems with my Honda gen earlier this winter I got away with the wifes turkey baster for awhile but had to replace that. When I did I also ordered a long syringe with a curved pointed tip that works great as long as you clean it out afterwords so the seals don't leak. BTW that starting problem with the 2k honda turned out to be an old fuel problem.

I just picked up 4 saw blades, pruning saw replacement blades off ebay for about $9 apiece plus shipping. The blades are $20 everywhere else. I make a handle out of plywood. Bar none the best saw I have found for marten trapping. But I have to say since I started using the Stihl 180 on the marten line they don't get the use they use to. But these corona blades are a darn good saw for the snowmobile. Cutting willows etc you can get hung up in etc.

I havent noticed anybody say anything about flares, seeings I have them for my boat I just throw it in my action packer and I also have a safety vest for the visibility for the unknown cercumstance. My trapline gun is the henry U.S. survival 22 lr. barrel goes in stock reciever and spare clip also and it floats and pretty light weight. works awesome on sheep hunts and other hunts also.

I snared my first Lynx....ever! Thanks to a lot of insight from you guys (special thanks to Family Trapper and his YouTube vids)I snared my first Lynx. Frustration had set in by multiple walk-by's on my cubbies. I changed up my game by making my own snares, a little extra long to reach where I needed them to. Swapped to pen and walk-thru sets, and connected. I am working nights, got up early yesterday afternoon and ran out to snowshoe my traps before work and was completely stoked by the results! Just got home from work, need to go sleep. I took "before and after" pictures of the set. I will try to put them in their own post in a couple of days. Here is a pic from my phone. Once again guys, Thank You.
