Supposed to be crazy Aurora tonight, some solar huge solar flares just occured. Luckily for me, it is supposed to snow all night, so I cna go to bed without guilt and nagging for not staying up.... Maybe I will send the nagger out to watch and report on if you can see the aurora in a blizzard.... And won't you sleep soundly knowing that the underpaid Local 71 guys at DOTPF will be scraping that snow off the roads at $87/hr so you can go to work on time?!!!!! Pete

Pete Everyone knows that they wait till after Morning rush hour to get out there to grade the roads. Only have to do half the job when you have to go around all the stuck cars lining the sides of the road. Then they'll wait till the roads are clear, and be out there late at night making the "sparklies" with the asphalt and grader blade... Sheesh.

I pay the big buck for Starband's fast connection (around $100 month) that also has higher bandwidth usage limits. Even with that the only way you can watch video reliably is download it offshift (midnight to 6 am) to avoid getting throttled because of excess usage. Anything live is unreliable but downloading them offshift and playing later is possible if you want to mess with the offshift schedule. After all what do you expect for $1200 a year?

Truly a biggie. First aircraft under 30K since last October happened yesterday afternoon. Good to know there is still life on the planet.

Gas here is close to $7 and profane is $235 per 100# bottle If I have the math right , that propane price works out to about $9.96 a gallon.
