Good job with a good trap. You may be surprised and have the only moles. Your luck is not going to run out, your skills are going to improve and your going to be paying some bills with those hairy tailed moles. The mole is the adc guys beaver....keep it up.

Wow, thanks for posting the picture of the hairy tailed moles. Those look a little smaller and a little darker then the eastern moles. Great picture.

It really is interesting to see the different critters people deal with in different parts of the country.

Two out of six ain't too bad for a no account coon trapper. How many can I expect to catch out of my yard? They're somewhat territorial aren't they? Do they hang out in family groups? There seems to be three groups in the yard now hopefully I'll pinch a few more before my luck runs dry

Family groups? I don't know about that. Maybe.

I don't know how far moles travel. I've never heard of a scientific study on moles.
