Waterat: Keep us updated on the Lake Monster as we have one down here also. I've seen seals up here in the winter on years where the river ice was shakey. I've seen them as far as the Narrows which is an easy 40 miles from salt.

Got a package from the family in Kodiak today. Dried halibut! First for me actually, good with mayonnaise

Spring is here, saw some swans and two flocks of geese today. I just saw a lone swan flying over the house tonight!. still lots of snow and thick ice here but warming up. That Halibut looks good..tell them next time you want smoked Halibut cheaks they are awsome!:)
