Hey pete was reading a log building book and saw a pictue of you back in the early 80's i believe. I liked the cabin designs. Was over pioneer park yesterday so i can check out the old cabins, kids had a blast. If you are looking for me these days, don't look for the skinny guy portrayed in those photos!

Jeff, I skipped the Pitbull event and took my dog for a hike instead If I didn't hate rap with every fiber in my being I might have gone... well, probably not...lol! We must be brothers with the same taste in music ..but differant taste in food of course..lol Yep, I have a pretty tame pallet...lol! No surgery on the wrist unless it doesn't heal up right! Kind of a good news bad news thing as it can take up to 12 weeks for it to close on it's own (scaphoid bone). Got a half arm cast with finger usage. I sure miss my thumb!

I can still wiggle my trigger finger but can't turn a reel handle. May have to get an accessory molded into my hard cast when I get it next week! Well if you had reels with the handle on the CORRECT side, you would be able to reel still.... Or, just put some cord off the down rigger and attach it above the ball, drop that to the bottom... .. white trash electric reel right there... Are you going to need a packer now for that deer hunt????

Are you going to need a packer now for that deer hunt???? I'm learning how to do things with my left hand I never dreamed of... but reeling an open face reel lefty isn't one of them. Weird because I always reel spinning reels lefty...?? I like your downrigger idea...lol! I got the deer hunt covered but I may need help with a goat. jk, once this cast comes off, billy is gonna die! Saw probably 30 goats today while scouting. Most were pretty far back in the hills but one billy was in a doable location. One month from now I hope to be putting a stalk on one. Xrays next week... hoping for good news! My coccyx is still sore but getting better slowly (in case you were wondering ) .
