here in west tn. the gov. is doing a decent job of getting themselves a good reputation for being shotty

I'm with you.

To me it's just common sense that if you are drawing a government paycheck regardless of your job outcome, you don't have a real incentive to do exceptional work.
On the other hand if you are a private entity like most of us, offering a service and doing an exceptional job will land more work and grow your company.

I know all of this is pretty obvious, but it seems like a lot of what the gov. does is just maintain the status quo. Don't solve the problem, just look like you're trying. That way they'll always have job security.

I'm just throwing this out there. I talked with a good wise friend and he suggested presenting our situation to TFHA at the fall convention and asking to take us under there wing. And maybe forming a ADCO arm of TFHA.
TFHA is established with alot of sharp guys and gals.
