Boy, talk about a great addition to T-man. ( I actually did Dirk's math 24 years ago and beat what I needed by 13 grand ) Now that's not profit but it's amazing what you can do when you're young. Bet I couldn't do the same thing now. ( Yeah you're right, I probably could. Old age and treachery beats youth and skill every time )

In my area if you only made a 30% profit then you
Would never ever make it! And I live in a poor area!

I appreciate the compliments, and if I am your hero, you guys need help!!!!

Keep in mind. The numbers I threw out were for getting you in the right frame of mind in making your considerations. Don't use what I put down as gospel for your area. Some guys are willing to do a lot more work at a much lower profit margin, others need more. The cost of living in your area will be another factor.

I just hoped to get you on the right track.

Dirk, I'd really like to write an article about pricing but that would be the best article I've ever written if I could pull it off. A shirt tail relative is back in our state after several years in California. The reason; cost of living!

The last two decades I have felt like the wealthiest man on earth but there are people all over creation that make half as much as I do and feel the same way! There are also people ( especially on the coasts ) that make twice as much as I do or more and feel like their financially drowning!

I've come to the conclusion that how much money you have, has nothing to do with how wealthy you feel. If most of you are like me, you have a number of very wealthy customers that you wouldn't switch places with for twice their worth.

P.S. Too many Paul's?
