we had a wet day comercial fishing today.. the fish were running good and we got over 1000 lbs about half and half Coho's and fall chums the price of the Coho's went up to $1.25 a lb so we made over a grand in about 6 hrs

Why doesn't anyone shoot it? Seasons open and sounds like alot of sightings, or is this wolf from Juneau.LOL

I think they're hesitant in case it's someone's dog....which I wouldn't be surprised if it is.

There used to be a $10 bounty paid by the city here but we have too many bleeding hearts for that now.

Same as here, a Woman here got bit over a week ago. Her son got bitten last year. Now they are proposing that the animal must bite 3 times before it can be dispatched. They're is a Woman here, some kinda Hugger "Bleeding hearts" and some others who said they'll fight the community to stand up for dogs that attack people. Lol alot of folks jus said if they have any issues they'll jus dispatch it before kids get bitten. Time of year kids are walking to and from school. I jus have to be thankful for a compact pistol. A bull dog got some carhartts pieces outta me 6-7 years ago. Compact won.

Woohoo... out of the cast and into a velcro wrist brace. Another round of CT scans and x-rays today and won't know for sure until the 6th if it's good to go (next available slot with the Doc), but it already feels a heck of a lot better. It will be a little while before I can skin anything but I'll be back in the game before too long. Don't ever break your scaphoid if you can help it...lol! You guys are slackin'! Caribou season was open, didn't see any, moose season opened the day we left. Looking forward to another vacation near Fairbanks starting this Saturday!

Thanks Ken, I'm pretty happy with the progress. Fingers are stiff from being in the cast and not having full flexion and my thumb is still pretty useless, but as soon as I get the all clear I'll rehab it asap. Missed a lot of good fishing. Nice Pics AKN and thanks! I know who you meant

In my experience...doing fun stuff is the best way to rehab something like that. It's easier to ignore the discomfort or maybe it's just worth the pain.

Speaking of pain- Just survived our yearly trip to the big village. 52 boxes of groceries in the mail and melted plastic.

Did it hit 90 degrees anywhere in AK this year ?
