Found a few of my trapping pics from SE... That was fun! Natural leaner with newspaper box... Ground set with 1.5 Buck mink filling up a 120, cubby set.

That's the back side of Old Woman looking towards Erskine and Cope... This is what Pillar looked like a week and a half ago... The green is going quick! 6 wind turbines on top now... Looking back towards Devil's Prongs...

How early are you guys taking your beaver for personal use for sewing mits, mucks, etc? On the Yukon river, we are having some ice on the ponds in the mornings at 24 degrees, back up to 50 during the day in mid sept....hard to get to our beaver in winter though on the sloughs due to thick ice OR everyone CLAIMS that 50 miles of the sloughs are theirs for the last 50 years...Most, NOT ALL, of them never trap it..go figure...BUT, we do have a couple of HARD working men that do alot and put their butts on the line on the sloughs with over flow, deep snow, etc, gotta respect these guys and put in a word for them!!! Tough son of a guns!

Tough son of a guns! I like to wait till the end of October. Otterman works them in October apparently and is happy with them. I never worked them that early.
