Has anyone stopped to contemplate the fact that this almighty thread has 1962825 views. Heck I had to think about it for a second. Coming up on 2 million views. Started May 16, 2010 If I did the math right that is 888 days for an average daily view of 2210 views a day. Cow a bunga Paul.
I say we take a guess on what day and time it will hit 2 Million. The winner gets to start the first post of the Almighty Alaskan Thread #6 ;0) I'll step out and take a guess. I say

Any takers. Of course we will have to find out if and when they plan on retiring #5. I imagine soon since it has a history of creating problems.

Oh Sweet TJ. Looks like some tight quarters. Did you stalk in the trees? Or bring him to you.
Actually, I shot him from a ridge above there about 250 yards away. Was bedded down in there for over 5 hours and I couldn't get a look at him to see if he was legal or not. Just kept seeing a flash of antler every once in a while. Finally a group of caribou came through and bumped him up out of his bed and I finally got a good look at him. Actually was a great spot for him to go down as everything is nice and flat there to work on him. -TJ

Meat's meat! Hope you weren't too far from the river.
Rumors of my assimilation have been greatly exaggerated.

Always great when you can fill the freezer. Wish I could shoot them that size.

Makes me homesick. ;0) Nice one Jeff. I will have to settle for a cow after Oct 1 when I come out. I'd rather have a big lone cow over a bull any day if legal. Sure wish we had a winter cow season here
We get out of life only as much as we really want and work hard enough to achieve

Meat's meat! Hope you weren't too far from the river. Thanks guys It looks far from the river in the pic but was actually close just up on a bench above the river right at our camp, so the packing was all down hill we had no trouble sliding the meat into heavy game bags and then slidiing them down the hill to the boat it was all tundra. I will shoot a cow later this winter, the other day I was doing my moose call and a big cow came in at about 20 yrds it was in water so I didnt shoot. I did pass on a much bigger bull also.

-TJ you just have your kid shoot them, right... Yeah, that cost me a moose and $600. Won't go that route again. -TJ
