Nice one Jeff! Looks fat and healthy. Crummy wx day here. Building snares and tinkering on guns. Have you guys ever heard the term "The weather is dog lips"? Official CG aviation terminology. Spooling up...

We have had nearly a month of crummy weather but most of the rain has fallen in the last week. Marine forecast was 24ft. seas subsiding to 18ft....lol! Here's another pic from my old files... This mink was harassing us at man camp in Sitka a few years back. He swam out to one of the boats, crawled through a scupper, stole the trolling bait and then defecated all over the engine compartment. Nothing beats the smell of mink stink in an enclosed space... especially once it heats up... They just seem to know when the season is closed...

Just spent a week stuck in Kodiak.Watched a couple land otters picking through a skiff one night in the harbor. Still have one more trip to do. I imagine the surfers at Narrow Cape are loving it.

It's clearing here finally. Got out for a hike to the top of Pillar. Still blowing up there but the sun was out. First noticeable termination dust on Center Mt.

Man now I'm hungry! Got me some fish egg soup tonight, with potatoes, carrots, celery, rice, and even cut up some dried fish to throw in it! Think I'm gonna eat that now.
Rumors of my assimilation have been greatly exaggerated.
