I had a black Drill Sgt I remember to this day who was was insane about the fact that Jimi was such a lousy soldier and got all the money.

He was lazy, caused trouble and was released from the service early. Somewhere in the middle of all that ranting I was introduced to his favorite demeaning term " wasted Sp**m.

I learned all about not wanting to be Jimi for a very long 8 weeks !! I remember Jimi well and it wasn't Purple haze, Voodoo Child or Foxy Lady either.

Think about it. Real trappers take joy in self abuse (no not that kind.) Hypothermia - lose balance sink in pond muck, lose balance, fall into water. Snap trap on self, mink and skunk spray upon dispatch, get truck stuck, ....I am getting too old for this. Ryan is my and our hero.

Been working on muskrat harvest . Prices are looking very good . Great time of the year to be outdoors for the call of the wild . Running free down some river or marsh there's nothing like it . Scouted a nice long beaver flood today that's holding good rats that runs into a big marsh .

My boys have really grown and it really shines this season . Watching them run there own lines and there professional handling of fur really showing this year . No dought in my mind there truely going to be great fur trappers . Fur trapping future is really looking good with these new market places opening in china as are wild fur moves inland .

Phil that's what makes it so much fun and keeps the people away . Just walk a 1/2 mile threw swamp mud and you got it all to yourself . Phil just find ya some kid that wanting to learn the skills and have him be your slave . Pull ya along and carry stuff ect
