October 30, 2012:
Felt like Christmas today, got my order from Trans Canada Trapline.

2 Bottles Gusto, 1 Bottle Hawbakers Marten Lure, Barnes All Call Bait, Forget Pro Coon and Forget Extreme #1.

Didn't really need so much XLDC lure (4 bottles now) but it was in replacement for Forgets XLDC lure which I wanted too try out.

The weather is deciding too stay relatively nice. I noticed a rat in the pond across the road, and ended up catching this fellow this morning.

Also, got a Step-by-Step video of Making those Tapered marten boxes up on YouTube. Not everyone knows where too get instruction so I did my best too make a really simple video.

Put a few Power Snares out today for coyotes.
Can you spot the Ram?

Also went out and had a look at another beaver colony.

Can you ever have enough LDC? I use the heck out of it when it gets below 0 degrees.

Is it about a third of the way down, the two dark looking sticks by the dark spot in the grass?

No these are all road side sets at a big farm operation.
The coyote's there are just crazy.

It's a good sign that they are around when you can drive down the road setting and see one 10 feet from gravel that was shot.

November 10, 2012:

It's total whiteout here in Manitoba right now.
We have about 6 inches of snow accumulated on the ground so far. Forecast is calling for all below 0 degree's for next week so this should hopefully stick around.

Here's a video of some fall rat trapping:

November 10, 2012: (Post Two)

Just made some beaver stretcher's up.
Pattern is all stenciled on... now to add fur to it.

We ended up with just under a foot of snow today. Enough to snowmobile on, fingers crossed we get good ice again this year.

Today is a Remembrance Day. I'd just like to say Lest We Forget all those who fought, died, survived and are still fighting for the freedom of us and others.

My grandpa who is since passed was a soldier in WWII. Thank you.

Since yesterday we have gotten another 5 or so inches of snow. Which is rougly about 16 inches on the ground. I am almost positive it's here to stay for the season now.

Caught a little ermine in a box today also.
