With jack rabbits some of them have high odours, and if these go into the pot...well nothing smells worst let alone the potluck dinner. If you see the stains from the urine they are red...high food content with nitrogen, these rabbits have a odour when you skin them.
Did you find any intermuscular water sacks... these are a tapeworm cyst and cycle through the dog family when they eat them... throw them out and burn to stop the cycle....when in doubt..throw out
When there was a high population there wa 75 % infection a couple of years ago

No there was no odour. No there was no strange sacks. They were just like every other rabbit.
