His business is not limited to just water trapping and he does the whole spectrum of WCO work with the exception that he does not do bat removal. Ed has this to say about his book primarily focused on Methods of Odorless Skunk Removal. "I started trapping and removing skunks out of necessity, by that I mean that's what most people were having problems with. Therefore, I concentrated on ways to remove them without odor. Methods and baits had to be worked out so that everything ran smoothly and with some amount of predictability." If you want to safely and odorlessly remove skunks from a property this is the reference for you. Wow! What a neat concept! Bob Evans did a podcasts called Trapping Bees By The Numbers that got beekeeping started on our podcast five+ years ago. This little podcast {follows}inspired and old NY beekeeping friend Rob Overton the guest for this Sundays Podcast. Trapping Honey Bees By The Numbers Our 49th Podcast. Probably one of the most useful and informative podcasts I have participated in and on a topic I find folks are both scared of and curious about. Bob made handling a Bees swarm sound as easy as boiling water. Bob Evans lead a nearly two hour discussion participating in questions from Robb Russell, Kevin Dahn, Tami Smallwood and others listening in on the live streaming podcast and posting questions. http://trapperrobb.com/nuisance-wildlife...-cwcp-new-york/Take a moment and look at the video he had made professionally "Bag Of Bees". Bob was an amazing guy and was one great beekeeping enthusiast.

I miss listening to Bob on those podcasts. Me Too. I am now six years into promoting live bee removal and lots of my clients offer bee removal and always glad to see traditional beekeeping techniques in use and not just killing bees because its cheap ,& profitable to exterminate the colony and not put it back in the environment for better use. WpN Beekeeping Podcast History and some links to find beekeeping podcasts by podcaster name. If you listen to the earliest WpN Podcasts you will find Bob back then brought in hundreds of WCO's who decided to add bee removal to their business. As Bob got sick and sicker Rob Overton (Robo)the Admin, Beemasters Forum and a good friend stepped in and did some Beekeeping podcasts . In 2010 Bob died and Robo ended up with a serious case of Lyme Disease in 2010. Here are the links to all of the original beekeeping podcasts with Bob & Robo. http://savethebees-usa.com/podcast-schedule/wpn-beekeeping-podcasts/Master Beekeeper then did a series of podcasts on Becoming a Beekeeper http://savethebees-usa.com/podcast-schedule/host-david-burns/ David Mcleod aka warrior has done several beekeeping related podcasts since the days of Bob, Robo and David Burns. Mike Flick has been on podcasts with all three of these guys from the first days of our podcasts. The Wasp Warrior and Stinging Insect Removal If you ever thought about adding a new service to your business this might be your next money maker. You may not need a pest control license in your state. Check local laws. This podcast is all about offering services for Honeybees, Africanized Bees, Wasps and Hornets David Mcleod will be discussing a new green method of his to remove yellow jackets, hornets, wasps and africanized bee removals. Rob Overton who designed and introduced the Beevac will also be part of our panel of experts on mechanical methods vs using pesticides for stinging insect control. http://www.blubrry.com/wildlifecontrol/1169681/the-wasp-warrior-and-stinging-insect-removal/Why Live Honeybee Removal ? http://www.blubrry.com/wildlifecontrol/1303477/why-live-honey-bee-removal/Last year we did a podcast with Warrior and Mike Flick Bee Removal 2012. How to add wasp, hornet and bee removal as add on business. Discussions about the wasp warrior . http://www.blubrry.com/wildlifecontrol/1405540/bee-removal-as-a-business/

Every year we get together to discuss the equipment, supplies and techniques used in Attic Restoration. Rick Harris, with Tap Insulation stopped by for very informative discussion regarding attic cleanup & insurance claims with Mike Flick and Robb Russell. Rick passed on one very valuable tip I want to point out and that there are plenty of energy incentives out there to help customers pay for their attic cleanups even when insurance companies won’t help. Listen To The Podcasthttp://atticrestoration-usa.com/podcasts/animal-damage-attic-cleanup-2013-tap-insulation/We do a podcast about attic restoration every year listen to previous related podcasts in our WpN archives. http://atticrestoration-usa.com/podcasts/

Stephen Vantassel discussed the National Wildlife Control Training Program [NWCTP] in the first hour and discussed feral cats in the second hour. Robb you sent me an email that says "MAKEUP PODCAST" so now WCOs wear makeup? First it's queer boy scouts, now makeup, what's next somebody in our ranks wearing a skirt? Hahaha it was looking like Jonesie and I would never find a common date to make up the podcast and the word make up is because of tornadoes out west that put our Podcasting Source: Talkshoe offline. Since then I have been in and out of hospital(I am fine BTW). Jonesie and I each have had our own familial obligations and tomorrow is the night . Join us. Nothing personal but you were one of just 946 WpN Members that get our podcasts announcements by email . If we ever have a podcast on makeup I will see you are on that announcement list too. If you are in the private wildlife control industry join us for free. Part Two:: The Six Phases of The Gray Squirrel | The Makeup Podcast 5/30/ 2013 8 PM EDT

You should tell your friends and clients, I hope I'm both, when you're under the weather. Although it's etched in stone granola only at XMAS I might have made an exception to expedite recovery. Dave your very lucky to own anything and everything in Billings MT in most searches. Your competitors have to pay for pay per click advertising to even have a chance of being found online. Not all markets come even close to what we were lucky to pull off for so long. Keep the granola coming? Wait a minute I was on a summer Salsa schedule too. Of course you are both friend and client. It was just an ambulatory procedure that grew its own wings.

Here are two Google searches I did the first one in a area with low competition and the Google Search was "snake removal billings mt" . My client is in pretty good position even organically ! One real competitor in Section A paying pay per click to get the call before those in Section B who have organic web sites advertising their business. My advice and online advertising strategy is different for the operator in Billings MT is a lot different then the operator in Nashville TN Google Search was "snake removal nashville tn" Next Saturday Morning 9 AM I will be discussing a wide variety of topics related to Pay Per Click and being Found on The Internet In general. I have posted these examples for questions on the podcast regarding what a search engine report looks like and break it down into three areas for advertising. PPC stands for “pay per click” and also goes by the name CPC (cost per click), SEM (search engine marketing) and paid search. The basic concept is that you will be paying every time someone clicks your ad. Every time. The exact cost you pay will fluctuate for every click. You can’t control the exact amount; it’s a bid system. This is how Google, Bing and yahoo make their money. http://thewildlifepro.net/forum/topics/understanding-the-search-engine-results-page-serp

You can have the Number # 1 web site for the organic search results but still be number 4 called because of your competitors using pay per click advertising. This advertising is found on the top of Google shaded area top and the entire right side. Example: Well placed organic client showing up with their phone numbers on organic #1,#2,#3 with no pay per click advertising .There can be times of the day you can change your position in like 15 minutes. This arrangement may or may not work with organic placement alone. Its as simple as saying I need to get some bat in attic calls and do a campaign to do just that . Google adwords is like Vegas. Bids & position can change anytime. If this interests you looking forward to you joining me Saturday Morning. Bring your own coffee. We are gonna talk PPC Keyword strategy. Anyone who services in a highly competitive market online should understand how and when to use PPC as a tool to make the phone ring and bring in targeted types of work. For those of you struggling to get your phones to ring this is one more tool. This is not the answer to quick success but can become a quick make the phone ring fix when needed. A few tips on growing your business: Simple Formula for Success. Do good work. Ask for referrals. Farm your contacts, Grow a good reputation for doing good reliable work. Got problems Selling Jobs and get the right words out . Take classes in salesmanship. Even Toastmasters if you have problems getting out in front of people and selling yourself.

Tommorrow's podcast is one hour starts at 9 am EDT Its self help oriented. Between you and Google Ads(1 877 906-7957 and request a callback) The podcast is early one hour long. I hope many of you learn how to use PPC in different ways through different strategies. Across the board organic advertising still brings in nearly 50 percent compared to 6% paid search visits based on recent data from 315 million visit. But in some competitive markets the only key words you can touch may be best by PPC. http://www.conductor.com/blog/2013/06/da...natural-search/

On the podcast this morning we spoke a little about irrelevant pay per click purchases . Dave Schmidt;s wife Laura brought up getting all the mole in face calls until she finally removed those types of calls from her pay per click campaign. The following graphic demonstrates all things moles I found on Google using some of our software. This mole specific listing is an example of looking at everything to add to a organic page or to remove from a PPC Campaign. For those of you who do your own web work this should help you with Mole Trapping related relevant and irrelevant keywords.

My last Saturday Morning 9 AM Podcast from our Summer SEO Series 2013. This Saturday morning's title may bore you " Using Social Media For Pest & Wildlife control" Think of it as your morning sermon a non secular message about establishing your Local Business Footprint. "WORD OF MOUTH" starts with WHO KNOWS YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE IN THEIR SPHERE OF INFLUENCE. Besides being the Critterman, your also a businessman, businesswoman, husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, church member. etc. What is your sphere of influence in your own local community today. Who are the local decision makers not in your sphere of influence? We are gonna talk about GROWING YOUR SPHERE OF INFLUENCE using Social Media http://www.uswildlifecontrol.com/2013/08/growing-your-sphere-of-influence-using.html

Thank you for the publicity, Robb! For any of you folks who have teenage daughters, this is a young adult (13-17 years old) novel about a girl whose refuge from her dysfunctional families causes her more problems than the families do. The book deals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which is being diagnosed at the rate of approximately 1 in 80 children but has not been widely featured in children's fiction. The world of publishing is not a lightnin-fast one, so it will be several months before it's out. For updates, check my website-in-the-making, www.laurastewartschmidt.com.(and guys, she's even prettier than the photo)

Maynard Stanley "Stan58" was my first guest, its been awhile years infact but I did my very first podcast with Maynard and Mike Flick.Maynard is on a lot of the earlier podcasts like Bat Control 101 "How to do a bat Inspection" http://batremovalpro.com/dir/podcasts/bat-control-101-bat-inspection/ and several others. Mike Flick joined me. Michael O'brien MN Morgan Bennett MD, Chip Ayers WV, Eric Guillory MS, Rob Mckay LA, "David" GA and I am still missing guys who took part in the show. We were able to hit and miss pricing all night. We hit many aspects of trapping certains species and situations affect pricing, We talked about pricing coyote, beaver, armadillo jobs, after hours emergency calls, squirrels jobs, attic cleanup and a variety of work seen by the WCO today. Listen to the podcast. http://www.anytimewildlife.com/price-wildlife-control-adc-jobs/

I fully intended to join in but by the time I got home and prepped for the next day it was too late. my lose! I know listen to the pod. I know its that technology phobia of yours. If you have speakers with your desktop computer you should to be able to click the links I am proving you for the last 25 podcasts we did in 2013. http://www.uswildlifecontrol.com/2013/10/last-25-podcasts-with-robb-russell.html http://www.uswildlifecontrol.com/2013/10/last-25-podcasts-with-robb-russell.htmlThis Thursday Add On Services Same Time , Same Bat ChannelI am pretty sure your granddaughter is old enough to set up a ipod or MP3 Player and download my podcasts all of them on I-Tunes and show you how to push the play button and read the menu. A tablet, or android phone can do the same thing . I recommend 32 GB storage if you want room for the archives and other stuff.

That's all folks !! Thank you Justin. Awesome info on White Nose Syndrome, advice on handling a bat in structures, bats & disease, bat repellents etc even a recommendation of where to be trained right for bat exclusion work. Justine was preceded by many great WCO's, Beekeepers, SEO Professionals over the last six years in the hundreds who are credit to a experiment started by myself, Bob Evans, Kevin Dahn, Mike Flick, Maynard Stanley with our un-expectent first guest Kirk lapierre and his unplanned class all star class on canada geese removal. I certainly had a great line up of guests Bob Jameson, Ron Jones, Al Lafrance, Rich Cannioti, Reginald Murray, David Mcleod. Al Huot, Mike Millian, Brent Saxton, Dr Ed Bez, Stephen Vantassel, Newt Sterling, Any Williams, and a few hundred more names I could mention. The podcasts were never about me it was always about what my guests brought and thank you all of you for the last six years. http://www.anytimewildlife.com/last-podcast-update-white-nose-syndrome-bat-removal/

Sorry Robb, I really meant to be on your last program. But, I ended up in bed with this ongoing, miserable, asthma, allergy, and sinus infection pain in the butt. ( There may have been some white-nose syndrome involved as well ) I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for all you've done for the ADC community. There are a lot of us that owe you!

First of All Merry Christmas to all of you.It is a family time of year and spend it with them. We made some changes. Check us out next year. WPN Phonevite Scheduling for 2014http://thewildlifepro.net/forum/topics/no-more-podcasts-we-now-do-phonevitesI promised a change in formats and wanted to update everyone if you want to do an interview we will be doing basically these 20 minute interview formats. I will be continuing this Oral History project and encourage many of you I missed that 2014 should be a great year for a 20 minute interview. The new format focusing on one operator at one location. If you want to tell me about your business feel free to call me and schedule a interview 855-699-4535 The twenty minute format allows listeners from a smartphone to visit our site and download them and not be tied down to listening two hours plus audio, The 2o min format allows for easier scheduling and allow ANYTIME WILDLIFE to be more adaptable for the WCO in this mobile tablet, smart phone market. Meet The WCO Wildlife Control Operator- This is part of the original NWCO Guys series 20 minutes of telling us what you do and where you do it. Best Dead Animal Removal Story- There is always gonna be a new dead animal removal story and we hope to keep them coming. Best & Worst Skunk Removal Story- Keep them coming. Schedule an appointment to record your experiences. How To Animal Damage Repair Series -New doable series I hope others show interest in sharing their own xperiences.. How To Trap, Capture and Removal Series Can we keep this in a 20 minute format?? We will see. Meet Our Vendors- A real good exmaple would be the recent podcast we did with a Catastropy Career Specialties and their roof access training facility Current WCO Industry News - If you have industry event schedule it on our site and give me call and we will do a Announcment Phonevite and help you promote your trapper friendly business or event. Beekeeping, Bee Removal Series- Bob Evans started this and we hope to add fresh audio this year related to sting insect removal and general household pest control topics. We also encourage YOUR video that we can categorize under the same audio categories. We never went away! Our former 2 hour podcast formats are now history and we now do 20 minute episodes as phonevite and a better way to schedule and deliver shorter, better planned messages for the WCO Industry today. We plan to use snippets from the past & present http://thewildlifepro.net/

Like I said back to basics. One Operator At One Location. Self promotion tools for any WpN members WCO Business . Thanks Ron & Steve. . I can still invite multiple guests but this time around I use this high dollar phone system to do my scheduled invites called PHONEVITES!! If you are part of the show we will call you at a scheduled time just accept the call. I push a button and we start and stop recording. Flick and I will do some testing of the new recording medium and see whats its really gonna take to host our own branded media and connect with new demographics doing more with less recording time. So Ron, Steve et all the short of it is I can schedule you for a early Tuesday morning @ 8am do a How To Trap Segment and we will be done in 30 minutes and keeping again about 20 minutes. Warrior and others same thing. I think I can polish up short segments and stay on topic using editing and 20 minutes as a guide. Ron those podcasts you are doing are more then welcome to be promoted as events On the Wildlife Pro Network. The audio archive will also have our WpN 2012 Podcast Archive shortly. New recorded phonevites , the shorter version will eventually push some of our older content off the playlists as we begin to do more 20 minute segments. But everyhting will end up someday soon on a redirect to our network http://podcasts.wildlifepro.net We will host all of our original podcasts forever at (which presently uses the original feed formats). The switch over will eventually happen when my tech guys say we are ready to throw the new switch.
