What diameter is the smallest you have seen
A gray squirrel fit through??

Im doing a flying squirrel exclusion for a
Customer that swears up and down that
He seen a full size gray squirrel in his attic!

Problem is during the inspection I could not
Find a entrance that would seem fit for a gray!
And I did see a flyer while I inspected the attic!

No less than three inches at some point. Not necessarily round.

Don't forget the "invisible" entries like attic fans, vinyl soffit returns, ridge vents, exhaust ducts.....

All the poop looked like flyer poop to me and all
In one spot! I checked the attic fan and the two vents
With no sign of entry!
I think I will have a colony full of flyers but
We will see! I wrapped the trap in insulation
Bc it's like -5 at nite! Anyone else do this?

About two inches - tennis ball size.
Kasey - why do you write in stanzas?
If you see a flier in attic and you know what a flier is - that's a flier!
If customer is sure he "seen" a gray -well, that squirrel got in thru a squirrel-sized hole somewhere ( unless somebody brought said squirrel in thru the house). The laws of physics apply to everyone: if a gray needs a 2" hole, he can't get thru a 1" hole!

Sounds like you have flyer problem. Most people think flyers are young squirrels because they have never seen them before. You are going to learn a lot on this job. You won't make the money you deserve but where else can you get paid to go to school. When you go thru the archives pay attention to how people charge for these cute little sob's

Sleep'n with an animal..I can help.
Do not use both feet when testing the depth or temperature of the water

You gotta feel sorry for Dave. Not only are his gray squirrels scrawny, but the tennis players have small balls.

It's real common for grays to push up soffits at dormer corners. They often lift up with little resistance and then settle back on the soffit channel. They put their nose under the edge and lift when they come back out.

If the customer said he saw a grey squirrel go in. ask what time? in my area the greys and flyers will be in the same home. it is not uncommon. but the noises will be different. greys will be at day break and on off during the day. the flyers as we all know are at night with heavy noise on bad weather nights. if there are young greys then they may get up in the night for a run around then go back to sleep. hear what the customer tells you but believe what you see.

Had 2 flyers in a colony trap this morning! Wrapping
The insulation around the trap didnt work like
I had hoped it was just too cold out I guess!

I have done probably 20 flyer jobs over the last
2 years but have never done any in this kind of
Inclement weather! Any suggestion on it? I typically
Don't like to set traps in an attic but I may have to
Due to weather! And in wi they are protected so it
Would have to be with live traps!

Dude,,,,,you got small balls,,,.......

Reminds me of one of my favorites.........
!
Some balls are held for charity And some for fancy dress But when they're held for pleasure, They're the balls that I like best. And my balls are always bouncing, To the left and to the right. It's my belief that my big balls should be held every night.
CHORUS And I'm just itching to tell you about them Oh, we have such wonderful fun Seafood cocktail Crabs Crayfish
