Yeah. Any albino animal would be cool. It wouldn't be going to the fur auction if I got my hands on one

On the way to Winnipeg taking furs in yesterday I checked the half dozen coyote rams I had out. I haven't been out to check them since the 6-7" of snow we got the other morning.
Needless to say they weren't the right height for coyotes but the perfect height for jack rabbits...

So anyways today I gotta get back out and re set those two rams and lift the rest to the proper height. Then the plan is to head out and get some more traps set.
See how she goes.
those are some pitch white rabbits! Ours have a grayish tint to them.

Snared a coyote this morning. And went and put out a handful of warm weather rat sets this afternoon.

Yea, Just got in on a board. And pulling the front legs through they were actually grabbing the pelt and wouldn't come through. Finally just broke the nails off.

Because I just don't cut the whole leg off. Takes extra time. I don't skin the entire front leg out if that's what you think.

And no not yet coonkiller22. Would like to though.

trappinghardcore - what are you trying to say, spit it out! wink

Sure hope so. Most of my money will be from the coyotes, I got 13 up there. My top coyote is the 3rd from the top, he should bring some nice $$.

Just a 1" board on bottom, front and back. And 1/2" plywood sides.
16" long but could be 12 no problem.

February 20, 2013:

Wild Fur started to finally sell at NAFA today. So far 1 of the two mink that I caught sold for $30.00, and 28 rats for $275.00 at a $9.82 average.
Happy with the price of the mink definitely. And the rats, well I can't say I don't like that either. Could be higher, but sure could be a lot worse!

Excited to see how marten sell tomorrow, considering a buddies fisher from the 2nd day of the season sold for $170.00!
