Forgot to post, but snared this little coyote on a bait set the other day.
There are fresher foods for them not far away so they have somewhat abandoned it.

thats very nice of the old fella he will be happy to see his boards full of fur again . one time a old guy gave me a pile of boards some of his beaver boards were made of 1x4 cuz in the early days you couldn get plywood in the north . one mistake i did was i never matched up the mink marten and otter boards to modern specs untill after i noticed my fur didn look uniform to each other . pays to just check them with a modern board to make sure . some of the old timers never had templates to follow.. you make sure you share a pic with the old boy once you have fur on his boards it will prob make his day ..

That's awesome, makes the older people proud to see the tradition going. Put up alot of furs on them and teach some youngings the trade.

As many of you know, NAFA got lotting letter's out today. Here are mine, at the moment missing from the lot is mink.

Castor is carry over from the May sale.
I am pleased with the results of the grading and can't wait for the auctioning to start on these. Will keep an update on what they sell for.

Snapped this picture too of a very irritated muskrat on a feed pile.

And here's something I have seen only once before.
caught one that had all white feet and tip of a tail just like that one. First for me

Eventful trip too the line anyways.

sorry. You have to scroll down on your pictures to the white tail rat. I was saying that I caught one that had all white feet and white tip of tail like the one you showed. Only had it happen once. But keep the pics coming I enjoy them!

Oh, okay! Yea I've caught a few now. Hopefully one day be able to get an albino rat, or at least a white one.
