Mike, you do make a very good point! Only trouble is, if she went on the roofs, I would have to answer the phone and at this time of the year, I'd rather fall off another roof.

I did a five story roof job yesterday and my wife knew about it. I was nervous for the first time because of her. She said she would never forgive me if I fell.

Well okay, but if I fell, I really don't think that I would be in any position to care anyway.

I had a pair of the hi top shoes , just blew the side out of one yesterday. I have another pair of the boots on the way. Would not want to work with out them. Not only do you stay safe but they dont damage the roofing near as bad as regular shoes and thats a BIG plus.

I never really thought of that. Most times I look at safety equipment as it's all for me to benefit from, but here the customer wins too.

Vinke, sometimes it's better for us more elderly gentlemen to just bite the dust. And you're right about the letters. The letter W is just two Vs and the German pronunciation is Vinkelmann. Now tell me that doesn't make you just shudder.
