Justin, right again; no amount of facts/science can deter some people from spreading their favorite conspiracy theories/old wives' tales. ...have you seen the snakes that form themselves into a hoop and chase people by rolling downhill? And Saturday I get a call from a lady that found a coon kit in her backyard and they think it's sick because it's listless and coughing, probably distemper. I tell her $xx for me to pick it up and I will euthanize it. "OH I have to pay? We'll just take it down to the river and release it." So you're going to release an animal thats known to be sick and release it in a healthy population? "Let me talk to my husband I'll call you right back". I'm still waiting for the call back.

Women of a certain hair color have been know to ask, "How do you get those little things off of the moths?"

Almost EVERY snake will shake their tail when in distress/cornered. I see it with rat snakes, corn snakes, and hognose.
