I don't even have the slightest clue what you are talking about.

What is the desired result your customer is trying to achieve using milky spore powder ?

What about earthworms?

Underneath the earth lives many grub like larvae stages including the Cicada that comes back every 17 years.

Seeing them come back this year tells me we don't have grubs completely figured out either.

I would honestly recommend you contacting your local county extension office

It's all over the web, just do a search. It does take a long time to work - sometimes up to 5 years before it is in the entire lawn. Used in conjunction with nematodes it can help with the control of the Japanese Beetle grub and a few others. There are several good curative and preventative grub killers on the market that would do a much better job. I've had some customers apply milky spore with poor results thinking it would keep the moles away if there were no grubs. They also said it was expensive to apply and would not do it again.

Milky spore has been used for many years with varying success. It can take a few years to become established but then lasts a very long time.

I know people who have had great results and others who haven't. The important thing seems to be treating all the lawn in eyesight. For people who are isolated by distance from neighbors, as in surrounded by woods etc., or who have neighbors who will treat their lawns too, it can be effective.

In situations where there are a lot of small lots in an area it's very hard to get enough people to agree to the treatment for it to be worthwhile.

Jeff, tell your customers to get it from Amazon. They have the best prices.
