Leave it to Jonesie to ask a question I've never seen before. So I Googled frog traps and here is what you need: two 5 gallon buckets, a shovel, a piece of string, wires, plywood, a hammer, nails, a saw, floats, a flashlight and a net. I don't know what you do with all this stuff because I fell asleep half way through but I'm sure you can figure it out. Ribbet, ribbet.

Okay, now that is funny. Kill all your frogs or we'll arrest you for noise pollution; signed... Your Health Department

Hey Jonesie, a lightbulb just went on in my head. Leave the frogs in the traps and take them from pond to pond. Keep calling the health department and complaining. You'll make a fortune.

I'm willing to bet somebody built that pond...and then, ohmigod!, a natural ecosystem exists! Like, I can't hear my laptop with all those, like, froggy-thingies!
Your Health Dep't. has WAY too much time on its hands if it's going after frogs.

Funny, I just got a call about frogs too. From a car dealership that built it's new facility in a river bottom. Go figure!

We got a few calls like that. We go after them bullfrogs with sling shots at night. Although the job is for pay, its mostly just fun and frog leg dinner. Tried bulding traps with funnel and netting but not very efficient.

Would drift fence and glue boards work?

I've not done a commercial job as of yet however I have done lots of nite shooting and giging with great success. I catch many a frog in my platform muskrat sets in late fall doing commercial work at golf courses.

Depending upon your regulations poling around at nite in a boat with head lamps and spot lites can net alot of frogs over several nites.

This is Jersey Boys, Sling shots are unlawful. and shooting is not even a consideration, with our laws and anti gun mindsets, BB guns and pellet rifles are considered firearms and we need our firearms card to even buy them. I can just see me now, it is a 55 and older community, and a elderly lady calls the health dept on frogs, and the health dept tells the property to deal with it. LOL I am walking around at night with a flash lite and slingshot LOL or pellet rifle LOL can I spell bail LOL I can gig them but, man that is great for dinner or fun but when I am working I want alittle more productivity with less effort LOL Glue boards well lets just say I can't place a glue board anywhere that a snake MAY get caught on it. snakes are totally protected in my state. Maybe I will just look at this one as the My son and daughter and I will be having some fun and make alittle from it. GIGING will most likely be the method.

Contrary to a lot of thinking jersey,s habitat is top for wildlife. that's why our bear population per square mile is the highest around. our deer population is anywhere from 20 to 45 per mile, ducks and geese well we just keep that a secret. It is the central and north east part of the state from Phily up to NYC concrete and cities, we have a lot of watersheds, farms and open areas, it is just the central and north eastern part of the state that is concret. So we can,t live anywhere in this state without wildlife /human conflicts and there is more work in the cities than out in the farm country house developments.
