Tilt the gun so the staple is higher on the side in the board only. Makes getting them out easy. bobCATching Unregistered B	A friend of mine uses staples and loves them also. Even in old, hard wooden cat stretchers. Danny's advice sounds excellent! I admit to still using a hammer & nails but it's slower $\:\)$

alann trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 476 Colorado	I have an arrow staple gun that came with an attachment for stapling wire that holds the gun slightly higher then the pelt. This way the staple doesn't go completely flush with the pelt and is easier to pull. I use 5/8 staples.
