Fun run over weekend not to many pics was busy fighting new snow go . Have some tuning to do figured out the limiter strap is adjusted all the way out from previous owner could not keep it up right with a sled . Caught 2 wolves and 14 marten. Had a big pack come through but turned right before all the wolf gear sets .

Nice looking black!

My sled has been doing the same. I adjusted the limiter strap down once but need to bring it down some more. Doing alright on the flats towing but the hills are challenging to say the least.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Do you ever get freezer burn on marten where the jaw was touching the fur?
40 mile hotline isn't getting much for reported kills. Bou numbers must not be as numerous as a couple weeks ago.

We get the freezer burn on them especially if it is super cold out . The caribou have moved out of our area at moment. We came over eagle summit yesterday and did not see any fresh tracks.

The gray wolf when we pulled up on it was lunging pretty hard and was held by a toe so got smoked pretty fast and the trap right above him had one for a short minute with just some pad fur in it so that is the second one of the year to get away. The black one was caught on my sand bar set that has produced 6 wolves in last few years a almost all of them black and 2 Wolverine I love that set . Basically it is a 50 yard sand bar by 20 yard across about 4 feet tall I drive through middle and drop some bait in the middle . Then on each end I put a 9 just at the lower edge going up . They know it is a set up but they can’t help but try to go look over the edge to see what the birds are on . My thought is they’re paying attention to what’s on the sandbar not at the lower edge.

The snow go was awesome besides being very tipsy . We broke out probably a additional 6 miles of line that had some very steep and deep stuff and it climbed stuff I would never thought would of been possible with my 550 . Even stop several times going up hill to clean brush while towing a heavy sled . Would just get back on and keep going. Even my trapping partner was impressed Who has give me a hard time about using a mountain sled . Also impressed with fuel mileage used half of what my lxt uses. And it is fun to ride after ride with something with that type of power I don’t think I could go back I probably never used more then A quarter throttle the whole time but when I need it it was there .
