My buddy Bob got a nice big fisher today , it was probably about 10lbs.

Set was on breast of small pond, with heavy brush nearby.

My chain wasn't tangle but laying on the ground, chain leading under large, uprooted Tamarack. Drag hung up on grass.

We had a fun rainy day today. This coyote and a mud ball of a grey fox

following are some issues I've been dealing w/ on my SE PA. RF line - went through a lot of traps early using too much food type lures...lots of trash caught - I missed more RF than usual this season trying to compensate pan distance from the hole for coyotes - my catch on RF is probably down 20% especially when I switched over to waxed dirt - rarely do they snap the trap but often prints on the trap bed from them working the DH set - last wk I remade most DH sets moving the trap closer to the DH - catch increasing misses decreasing - I've never caught a coyote in a DH, only in flat sets - no need to compensate distance from the hole for coyotes - tried using fiberglass screen for pan covers again this yr = disaster! back using poly fill exclusively w/ good results - last wk a hot location was giving up a RF a day but across the road from Land Trust property, whackos were in that parking lot 4 mornings in a row - the one guy asked me what I was doing...I then asked him what he was doing...then he starts talking real fast about how he liked trapping and he was sitting there waiting for me the trapper to tend my traps - I thanked him and moved on - so I moved the sets over the hill out of sight.

Ebsurveyor, great pic. Not sure when they released some in Cambria county, but I know we had some with collars on. IUP university did some studies in the Ogletown area and Blue Knob area was to have had some released.
