usually I bounce back pretty quick..........but this last bout with the flu really whopped me. seem to have no energy ......I had it twice in 2 weeks. never had it so bad that my dang legs hurt before.
had some yotes to skin yesterday and just about quit because I couldn't skin em fast enough and they were freezing on me.
any of you guys finding it tough to get your energy back after getting the flu this year??

Nope, I Am Diabetic and At High Risk of Severe Complications Or death If I get The Flu. Each Year, I take The Precaution Of getting the Flu Shot to Build up Anti-Bodies To guard against Contracting any strain Of Influenza. While It Is Not a 100% guarantee of Preventing all The Various Flu Strains, It Lessons The Full Effect Of ANY Flu due To Having Flu Anti-bodies Already Built-Up in My Immune System so it won't be as bad. Since Starting A yearly regimen Of Flu Shots Annually In 1997, I have NOT Contracted the Flu. This Proactive, Preventitive Approach Works for Me. w

You get sick from other people. It is passed around by touching someone or something that someone carring the bug has touched. All you have to do is touch your eyes or your nose or put a finger to your lips. Besides, you get sick quicker by being already in a run down state, like working hard all trapping season, and working fur into the night. My wife brought a present home from Christmas with the germ magnets. (grandkids). Now I'm fighting a cold. I hate the fact, that no matter how careful you are, someone will slip you the bug, sooner or later. If I had a place to go, when the wife got home, I would have! Truck was a little cold!

I had the flu shot , work gives it for free
I work form home most of the time and they just told me don't bother coming to the office at all for a while because they ahd so many people ill. so I didn't for November and most of December.
my kids brought home a nasty little viral bug and were out of school 2 days the week of Dec 12 I had it later that week and mostly got over it , but finally gave in and went to the walk in clinic Sunday as I was taking my oldest who never fully got over it either.
we are both on Antibiotics for the sinus infection that developed after the viral illness.
good sleep every night and treating it as best you can

Worse flu I ever had was after a flu shot. Havent had one since and have not had the flu. Good Thing You Got The Flu Shot First and Built Up Anti-Bodies OR If That Flu Was That Bad It Might Have killed You Had You Not Got The Flu Shot. Glad You Made It. w

Influenza, "flu", takes 2 to 6 weeks and sometimes much longer to recover. Flu will make everything hurt except your hair. Rickey

Worse flu I ever had was after a flu shot. Havent had one since and have not had the flu. You most likely had an allergic reaction to the fillers used in the flu shot. Been there and it's not fun. Happened both times I got the flu shot, ten years apart. Second time the doc said I shouldn't get it anymore. I told him not to worry I'm not going to.

been rough. My 7 year old got the flu and started on tamiflu within 24 hours which really helped him recover quickly. Then I got it, then the wife.
Rest and fluids and stay inside if you can
Stay healthy guys!!
