Someone should study why nothing touches otter carcasses, who knows, it may lead to a cure for cancer.

Maybe they're just tough to chew.

I was checking traps one day and saw a bob cat eating a otter that I had caught In a 330. The cat had dragged the otter and the 330 up on the dam and was eating It. End of story shot the cat and the otter wasn't In to bad of shape so I skinned it to.

I've noticed otter are the last to be eaten. I have seen plenty of maggots and beetles eat them. Have seen buzzards eat them but only after they have been there a loooong time.
I wonder if they would make good shark repellant ?
