Other cat today had a very silver/blue back....female cat.

Largest diameter cypress in this part of country. 5 people holding hands could not reach around it. Big beaver lodge in foreground. Have snares in this swamp. Some beautiful in there...

Not as many hogs on this property as last year. I found out why yesterday. Landowner says 300 killed in past year.

Found this yesterday laying in a wash on the high bluffs along the Savannah River. A true heartbreaker!

Thanks for taking us along on your trapline! I always enjoy seeing your pictures.

What's the deal with the hogs? Are they just getting turned into fertilizer? Seems like a guy could pick up quite a bit of pork after the landowners thin the herd. Heck, many guys here would pay to go down a shoot a few hogs.

What kind of prices do your bobcats bring in this market? Not necessarily that super spotted one, but an average 'cat?

Hogs were destroying everything here. The owners of this property don't need the money. They bought this property several years ago just for hunting.

These southern cats topped at $50 last year. Averaged at $25 to 30. Groenewold Fur Co. Dried pelts.

Thursday's only kitty...nice female.

Remember this spot from yesterday. 2 traps..2 otters. Should have set a couple more traps here.

Cool coyote pic...the location is on the high sand bluffs overlooking the Savannah River bottoms. South Carolina in the distance.

Snared a couple beaver today..

Still getting doubles on the bandits. I hope this coon stuff slows down...dang.

Water critters galore and no ice. Warms my heart sir.
