They've been talking about the way Vikings fans were treated in Philly all day on sports talk and even on the general news. They had some interviews of people getting off the plane from Philly this morning. Some fans said they were almost glad the Vikings lost because they literally feared they would have been injured if the Vikings had won. All kinds of stories. Even small kids were coming up to some and spitting and giving the finger while the parents just laughed. Geez, it's just a game. Nice people in the "city of brotherly love".

Minnesotans whining about not being a welcome non-resident = priceless
Well you're blaming the wrong guy about NR trapping, but I'm sure you'd complain if you came here to trap and some resident decided he didn't like you on "his turf" and destroyed all your traps. It's about the same thing.

Wow, wife found some sad things on Facebook, lady and her family were harassed, yelled at, people grabbed at her, one guy had his head smashed into sink, I went to four Vikings games, never even heard anyone yelled at, let alone assaulted
I heard of some bad story's as well. I have lost all respect for eagle fans and Philly the stuff I heard was absolutely unacceptable. A very sad thing for so many that went there and just wanted to be a fan and have fun. I can't imagine anything like that happening and security knew but walked away from most confrontations.

Can't understand why some Philadelphia fans are jerks or worse and you all seem to think all Eagles fans are jerks I have numerous friends around here that are Pittsburg fans and I never once spit or punched any of them!

As much as Packer fans hate the Vikings and Vikings fans hate the Packers, I've never heard of any violent encounters. Lot's of fans travel to the opposing stadiums too.

When Seattle bet Vikings 2 years ago because Vikings kicker missed a chip shot, sea hawk fan said to me , we (Seahawks)didn't deserve to win that way, he wasn't being mean

People were warned over and over again about how it would be and the went anyway. I don't condone the behavior but would you go on vacation to Afghanistan with a Taliban guide? Some people are just hard headed I guess. Like Ron White says "you can't fix stupid".

I can't believe you folks believe everything you see on facebook, lol. Back in 1966 I was in the Army and stationed near Washington, DC. If you went to a baseball game in DC (Senators) in uniform you got a big discount off the price of a ticket. I went to one game, had beer tossed on me and was spit on. I went to quite a few games in Philadelphia in my lifetime and never once had that happen or did I ever see it happen. Wetdog, how much do you want to bet Philly doesn't get burned to ground?
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

The bet is at least 10 fires and 5 people go to the hospital. The prize 1 doz 11/2 cs traps new. Eagles fans are loyle to a fault. The only things I'm loyle to are family friends God and country. Or we can do the losers put ups next season. But remember I like yotes and skunks. And I'm not aiming the fan thing at you you should know I have the utmost respect for you.

for sure no excuse for bad behavior..alcohol is usually the root at all NFL games..I think I recall a whiskey bottle being thrown at a vikings or green bay game years ago on tv...but if you are going to dress in the visiting teams attire and jaw with the home teams alcoholed up fans at any NFL stadium you are walking the tightrope..Philly did have more than its share of over the limit drunken fans a few years ago and to their credit set up a Magistrate/Judge at the stadium to take care of the violators right on the spot...reputations in life are easy to gain and hard to lose...

The crap they are talking about here in the media didn't come from Facebook. When ALL the local sports people that were there are talking about it, it had to have been excessive. They're at the stadiums for every away game. The local play by play guy has been talking about how bad it was too, he's been to every stadium in the league, and he noticed some things from his booth.

Paul Allen is also the biggest homer in league. Because .5% of the fans acted this way doesn't mean the entire fan base is that way
One of my friends has a daughter who lives in Philly. She confirms most of these stories you hear about their idiotic fans. She remembered a game where some Philly fans in an upper deck peed down on some visiting fans from another team. I also heard their stadium has a lock up for unruly fans. Bunch of stupid, low intelligent animals.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

This is America where normal people should be civil and morally astute enough to where it would be safe anywhere you want to go. It's just a game, nothing more. If some idiots see it as more than that, they really do prove they are morons. Your comparison is ridiculous and then again, maybe not. It's sad to think we have people living in America like this.

Some of you Minnesota fans sure cry a lot taking issue about the Philly fans behavior. If you team had won on Sunday I doubt you would be criticizing the Philly fans. Sure, some of those fans are idiots, but it is a very small percentage, you guys act like it is every Eagle fan that acts like a jerk.

First of all, I felt this way before the game ever began when I heard that SOME Eagle fans acted this way and has nothing to do with who won. Our local news said any Viking fan going to the game should not wear Viking clothing because based on Eagle history, they could be seriously injured. The Vikings play sucked, they deserved to lose. The Eagles easily deserved to win. Foles played perfectly.
I believe it's a small percentage of Eagle idiots as you say. From what I've heard, the city of Philadelphia and the NFL don't seem to mind that you have these morons in your midst. If you come to MN for a Vikings game and were wearing Eagle memorabilia, your chances of being harmed in any way is slim to none. I don't think you could say the same for your city. BTW, is it true they have a lockup or jail in your stadium?

Keenum said in an interview today that something happened to his young daughters at the stadium during the game. He sounded disgusted. He wouldn't say what it was because he didn't want to glorify the idiot fans, but it must have been something significant if he brought it up in an interview.

Best I know,no Eagles players took a knee Best I know, no Eagles player spit hit or in any way hurt a Vikings fan Having said that, I'll likely run more traps than most of you and get home in time to watch the Eagles play in the Super Bowl, therefore having a very productive day--- all day

Then it didn't happen. If you bring something up and won't explain yourself then IMO it never happened. That would go for anyone anywhere. And if Keenums kids weren't in a booth shame on him. He's played there and should know better.
I went to Eagles vs Giants last year.I am a big Eagles fan.I was absolutely shocked how tame it was in the stadium. There was easily 10% of the fans wearing Giants attire, and the only fight I saw almost happen was a group of Giants fans against a few Eagles fans. I hadn't been to a game in almost 20 years back then there were fights everywhere. Those Giants fans would have been beat very badly years ago.I've been to the games then and now and it is totally blown out of proportion to make news. But of course when you have 40 thousand drunk people a few will act like idiots.Show me a picture of a hurt Vikings fan.Or one with a beer thrown on them. You can't because it doesn't happen there anymore. You are just as safe watching a game in Philly as you are at your home stadium. But that doesn't make for a good story on the news.Show me proof of any incidents against opposing fans.Anyone can make up a story
