Most of the 200 lb wolves appear to have only been shot/trapped in places that sell beer....

In MN maybe 73 and 90. Tho 90 may be a bit high for males.

98# on This Old Male. I'm 6'1" and we used a certified scale. You find one once in awhile like these.

Here in Minnesota I think 100 pounds would be an unusually large adult male. I saw one the other day that I am sure was over 100. Had a male and a female come through the yard a while back, I was watching them out the window trying to guess how big there were I think they were probably about 75 and 90 that's a guess of course. But I have a friend in Manitoba who traps a lot of them and he says most adult males there will go over 100 pounds.

According to the old Federal wolf control guy in my area, who kept records back in the "70s", the average wolf here is 65-70lbs in northern MN. Maybe we've got a little bit different wolf than out west . I've caught a few myself, but nothing bigger than that average.

Someone killed one during deer season a few years ago here in Northern Mo. I believe it weighed in the 90lb range. They claimed it was MN genetics.

This one was 120something. It was -26 the morning I caught it and I could smell him from 20 feet. Those dang things STINK!

Worse. I was calling some winters back on a beautiful morning and the stench hit me like a hammer. They came down a snowmobile trail towards me about 20-30 seconds later.

Around 100 lbs.Depends if they have eaten before you catch them or not.A wolf can easily pack away 20 lbs of meat at one eating.
