The electric start stopped working. If you wiggle the thing on top the battery around it works but then stops working the next time until you wiggle it again. More problems with that machine than any new machine I have ever had.

Yes be carefully have someone check it out if you are not 100% sure. I bought it as I thought Yamaha would have all the problems worked out and I would have three or four years no worries. Instead I have had several years worth of problems in the 5 months I have had it.

Hope you stay within a few feet of your house if wiggling a thing on your battery is considered a major flaw or a fix for that matter.

Snowmobile yes.
Wiggling that thing works and I can still crank start it. There must be a loose connection somewhere I know that much. I was hoping someone would say "yeah had that happen. tightened the thing a migig, fixed it right up".

I wish there were more dealers within a 1000km.

Problem fixed itself threw it in the shop overnight and starter works good now. Must be a connection got wet or something.

I have a screwdriver if you want to borrow it to tighten your battery connection.

Damp connections put it to dry and it's good again.
