I do agree that Hollywood through the glorification of the thug lifestyle bares a lot of responsibility for the behavior of a lot of people, so many people today cannot think or do for themselves, they follow morons on Twitter and FaceBook and think everything they say or do is some sort of gospel. For those that demand we ban or severely limit the ability of law abiding citizens to own a particular firearm (AR-15) because, in their view they are just too dangerous. It's scary to see how many people we have on here who claim to be outdoorsmen, trappers, hunters, and gun owners who would cave to these morons and actually push for more gun control. Do you people really think they will stop with AR 15s? The whole Democrat Socialist agenda and goal is to completely disarm the American people one day to make us a bunch of government dependent socialist sheep. Do you really think a ban on AR 15s would stop this kind of foolishness? Meth is illegal too but I could probably drive straight into town from where I live and find some in about 13 minutes. The same would go for a banned AR 15. There are always going to be mentally insane morons in the world who do this kind of garbage and nothing, including gun bans, is going to stop it. It could be done just as easily and maybe more so with a modified shotgun or several handguns as opposed to an AR 15. The only thing that would slow it down considerably is more guns in the school. Several armed guards and more armed teachers and coaches would help immensely.

Sometimes I feel that those of us who truly love our country and our freedoms are in the minority and fighting a losing battle. It's alarming that we can't even count on fellow gun owners to stand up against more gun control and attacks on free people that our soldiers died for.
