Not sure they made a zero,can you post it next to a #1

Sorry this is the only one I have. It is a friend of mine trap. The measurement of a #0 is 6 1/2 in height. I measured from the top of the coil to the bottom coil one the widest spot and that measures 6 1/2 inches. Maybe I am measuring in the wrong area? A #1 is suppose to measure 7 3/4 inches. I cannot get that measurement anywhere. They made #0 - #5 but what I read.

Is there any stamping on the Trap? It would be on the straight piece near the notion of the trap.

I am not really sure, but in good condition, around $200. Maybe more, price is subjective. Animal Trap Comp., Abingdon, IL made a #0 but when Oneida Community bought them out, they discontinued the #0. Oneida did advertise the #1, 2, 3, 3 1/2 and #4 for a short time but then dropped the #4 also. I am not sure by whom or when the #5 was made.

The is a stamp on the trap. All I can see is Stop Thief Trap. On the very outside edge.

Oneida community models are usually stamped O.C. Stop thief and the earlier Abingdon models are marked ‘stop thief trap’. Trigger wire does not look correct. Extremely hard trap to find but I do agree in the $ 200 value, give or take.

I finally found the correct way to measure the trap for sizing. This trap is not a #0 it is a #2. Darn I really thought I had something. Thanks everybody for your information. Sorry for leading you astray.
