I haven't heard one bad thing about them. Thinking about trying a few myself. I'll be waiting for responses, as well.

Only hav one and been arnd anthr with one. We caught one beaver and it worked flawlessly. The whole line of ko traps hav impressed me. The John deer tough coating has a lot of merit in today's fast pase world

Con would be price, cuz they are spendy.

Pro would be they are made by Kendall, and they are beastly traps. Message varmintshooter on here, he has some and is happy with them.

Doug66 also uses them and has posted that he is going to sell his MB750s and switch completely to them.

How about bedding? For me, the CDR will be tough to beat since I can flip the pan up and stand on it to help bed. I’ve become so used to that feature I’m not sure what I would do without it! Been so long since I dug out a 750 that I honestly can’t remember if they do that or not. After my first 6 CDRs I never looked back, and I have enough now that the 5’s and 750’s sit in reserve for potential emergencies involving mass beaver insurrection or rebellion.

The Bridger is not a beaver trap, IMO.

I handled one of his beaver traps down at Manchester, and set in on my knee. I rate it, without having used one yet, as stronger than the MB 750, and easier to set than the CDR 7.5 . They are all good traps. Kendall's is the heaviest, if you need the weight. I would use them .

The pro...that I can see is that you can set it over your knee. It's a little harder with the CDR. I have 50 CDRs and I sure like them .

I tried my setters on them this morning. Did not fit. If they would hsve, I would have bought at least a couple trsps. Mine are the basic setters made with roundstock. Other models’ setters May very well fit.
