I say collect signatures for a law that forcibly deports anyone wanting to change the constitution. Nothing wrong with changing the Constitution. It's hard to do, but that's the point.

Marty, one would have to be deaf if he cannot hear the voice of the outraged parents and students demanding that something be done-And Politicians certainly aren't deaf to what may hurt them. One thing that we all must consider- we all know that the anti-gun folks know that POLITICIANS WILL LISTEN if they see a threat to their elections. Some politicians may be a friend of gun owners because they believe it helps them get elected. But the other side of the coin is that they may see an association with the NRA as a negative to their campaign. Few of our election officials will say they are absolutely against any changes in gun laws if their head is on the chopping block. Would anyone favor a tax hike to cover the costs of increased metal health services for all who need it?

All ya anti gun folks talk about Compromise" It ain't a compromise the nothing gets given back. We started of with a cake and now the anti gun folks have half of it .... we get zero in return. Nothing , nada. They are just hacking away at that cake and eating as much as they can get. As far as I am concerned. This is as much as you are going to get. Bake yer own and leave me whats left of it. As I so far have not gotten anything in return. Thats not a compromise ... thats stealing in my book. And its over and done with.
