Backroads, snaring has been under attack for a few years.

Can someone tell me how many states it is illegal to use snares?
Dryland snares are not legal in Wisconsin. We can use cable restraints though.

So are they trying to outlaw all cable in general? Or,are they open for cable restraints? Not much details on the issue. The thread doesn't have many MN trappers responding to thread. It almost seems like MN trapper/hunters are more concerned about trapping/hunting out of state then staying home and pressuring there own trapping/hunting rights. LOL

Snowy, clearly you are an anti. Your bad experience with MN hunters coming to your state is really turning into a hateful thing. I continually read anti comments you post on here... it’s getting old. Maybe you should stop painting Minnesotans with a broad brush or go bash trappers on an anti site. X2

No anti here just responding to a thread and commenting on MN posters on this issue. Not many responding to the thread at hand. If this thread was about wanting to trap other states you would mostly likely see many pages of posts.
MN trappers/hunters have made their own bed. If you people get questioned about your actions you come fighting instead of looking at what you people post and the actions of most. I have also voiced my thoughts on our states laws trapper/hunter also.
I do hope that doesn't happen to your state that is not a good thing and crap like that spreads to other states. I do feel from the posts that cause a ruckus here is because of what you MN people have brought on yourself. This is a forum and speaking your mind can make things better if you can look at the criticism in an open mind.

Yes I was just thinking if that radio station is finally using something that happened that long ago, they are really digging deep. I would hate to loose might right to snare. This is where I got started as a young kid. This issue is coming up now because the Legislature is in session. Email the radio stations all you want, but they are just running a paid advertisement. Best be emailing and talking to your representatives if you want to influence the outcome on this kind of trash.
