Pretty simple solution to that...don't spend money at Dick's.

My cousin works the gun counter at a Field & Stream store on Saturdays. I guess Field & Stream is owned by Dick's Sporting Goods.
Anyways... he says the ever since Dick's/Field & Stream made this announcement the store has been very slow. Not just the gun counter, but the entire store has been very quiet. He said what they used to sell on a single Saturday, now they don't even sell that all during the work week.
I wonder if that will last or if the public will forget about after a good sale

Their store in LaCrosse sucks, now I don't have to bother. I guess they can burn their whole inventory, it's their choice, and I can shop elsewhere, my choice. Yes it does. I went in there once and didn't know what to think

They sure have strayed from their roots. I have a few topo maps that were my Dads that he got from the original store in Binghamton, NY. Sad really.

877-846-9997. That's the corporate number. The young lady I spoke with told me they are keeping records of the calls for/against this decision for further study so....... let's all call and very politely explain that while we deeply regret it we can no longer purchase from Dick's due to this decision. Then after they decide that it was a bad call, we won't shop there anyway cause well, they're Dicks. "We support and respect the 2nd amendment......", ya o.k., action speaks louder than words.

Been in a new store near Scranton..........Dicks and Field and Stream side by side. For what they charge I'll save the time and gas. I'll spend my money locally and support my community. Dicks' is sure stepping on their own.........well you know.

I get where a store by policy can choose not to sell certain items or sell certain items to people under 18. Don't understand how unless it is state or federal law they can pick and choose age over 18??? Isn't it flat out age discrimination??

Mac I believe it is and there at least 2 lawsuits now to determine that.
