Cobra is a good one but the new accident avoidance accessory they are putting on cars drives the cobra nuts.

Speeding to excess is an 'infraction' that will lead to loss of license. WRONG AGAIN
Loss of points on your license due to traffic violations causes you to loose your license not Speeding. Speeding is a Misdemeanor not an infraction. Infraction carry no jail time. In our Court System if you are caught going over the posted speed limit by 25mph or more it is mandatory 48 hour jail sentence plus a fine. B

how can speeding be a misdemeanor when traffic rules are regulations and not laws?

Anti, your from around Bend correct? What route you planning on? Just wondering Yep , about 30 minutes north of bend . I like to run the Lakeview route . Less traffic and fewer towns My brother left today and he will run the Klamath Falls route . More towns with more options for food and bathrooms. Also more traffic. But he has younger children ( Girls ) I always tell him the more you stop the longer it takes . The longer it takes the more you stop . The more you stop the longer it takes . His trip today took 8.5 hrs Dad in the hospital again so ..............

Since radar technology has advanced, the time has come for a smart phone app updated in real time by motorists of police locations. The info is collected and disseminated to other app users in an x mile radius. If I were smart enough to make an app for this I'd be a millionaire. The app is called Waze and works 👍

No degree needed. MA said don't steal, so I don't. A guy takes his shotgun and murders his wife and children, then flees the state continually killing people as he goes about his business. When he is arrested then by your logic we are to only photograph the weapon he used and not seize it for evidence and further testing because that would be stealing. No fingerprints, no DNA testing, no GSR testing, ballistics, etc. It's fine though, we have a photo of the gun and he can have it back while he awaits his trial, possibly out on bail.

I dont use a Radar detector, but I think Putting gas in Cop Cars and paying cops to pull people over is a waste of My tax dollars , Quite Frankly sick of it. Shouldnt be a speed limit... Drive reasonable Enough Said...

Most thieves justify. You don't have to agree with me. It is, afterall, my view. Just keep stealing till it feels dirty, I guess.

Your hypothetical scenario isn't even comparable. Murder is a real crime,speeding/using a radar detector are NOT. Cops are out of control these days. They can charge folks with whatever they want and get away with it. They are not even obligated to protect the public any more. They have turned into armed revenue collectors that our tax dollars pay for. I can't understand why anyone would agree to such b.s. It's no longer (protect and serve) now it's to (irritate and harass). Perfect example: A guy i know had a car stolen by an x business partner. We showed the cops where the car is in his garage and all proof it is not his. They say it's a civil matter and can't do anything. Can't recover a stolen vehicle but can pull me over, steal my property and search my truck with out a warrant. By all means continue to harass and steal from people on our dollars. A little off topic but the truth.
