It miffs me too. Makes me want to sign up my sibling and nephews, actually.
It's quite possible some of them may actually be undercover anti's, coming on here just to try to dissuade people. That would be an interesting position for an anti-gun impersonator to take, that of wanting LESS gun laws than the pro-gun control club (and both major policy parties) espouse.

Does the NRA support background checks, whether or not the state has permit to carry or constitutional carry? I admit I may be ignorant as my state has a permit to purchase and a permit to carry or vice versa (maybe both). Regardless, here you need to have walking papers from your betters to either own or carry a concealed pistol. I haven't bought a firearm from a commercial dealer in 15 years. To answer your first question, yes, the NRA not only supports it and is now advocating to "fix" it, they claim responsibility for coming up with it. Pro gun NRA advocating gun control.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

We had back-ground checks before this if your old enough to remember. So, what that is, is the NRA speeding them up by advocating for it to be "instant". Not a bad move if they couldn't get rid of it.

LOL, sadly i do. i'd have been 31 LOL! No, I was referring to what you said about back round checks before 93. That's when the Brady bill with the NRA nics was introduced which is what was in the link and you said we had them before that.

After NICS, We got our gun instant.
