Find a little resort in lower MI on a good sized lake and fish and relax!
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

My family and I have enjoyed 3 night mini-vacations where we leave on direct flights early Friday morning and return late Monday night. We have gone to Nashville, New Orleans and Old Town Arlington Virginia. For us we stay close enough to walk or ride Metro and have had a blast. The 3 nights are just long enough to see alot, get a feel for the area and not get burned out.
Next areas we want to see are San Antonio, San Francisco and maybe Phoenix.

Forever in debt to my Father who introduced me to trapping. May I be half the man he was.

If you like to fish, the Colorado river at the bottom of the Grand Canyon from Lee's ferry to the bottom of Glen Canyon dam that holds back lake Powell is a world class trout fishery. The last time I checked, late eighties the inland waters record rainbow trout came from there. It was over 21 pounds. Whatever you choose to do have fun and be safe.
