Need some breathables for summer beaver work that won’t break the bank. Anyone have experience w a decent pair they could recommend?

Get any cheap pair and put the breathe holes in yourself. Save quite a bit of cash like that. And no you don't have today me anything for that bit of advice.

Breathe holes in waders sounds counter productive.

So does breatheable.There's no such thing.

Before we can give good advice it's best to know how much is the budget.

Also do you want a pair that has a built in rubber boot or would you prefer stocking foot.

Oh and the current pair of all rubber from Academy has some holes I made.

get a pair of dive booties and wear them with shorts...awesome combination for warm weather wading.

You will be hard pressed to find waders that let moisture out and not in.

Caddis, Frogg Togg and Hodgman all have what you're looking for for well under $100.

Trapping is obviously rougher than fishing or some duck hunting, but breathable waders make up about 80% of the fishing and hunting market. All waders eventually leak, but breathables are a lot more enjoyable to wear all day. They've been around since the early 90's.

And Hal, they do move moisture out of the wader. Unless the water is hotter than your body temperature.

I beaver trap year around. I go through two to three pair of waders a year. I got a pair of the "Dans Waders". There not a real budget wader but are perty dang tough. The longer they last the cheaper they get. They can take sharp sticks, cut switchcane, and briers. You can separate the waders from the bibs and just wear the bibs. Bibs protect the waders really well. The boots fit to size and don't hurt my feet. I will buy them again when these wear out.
When it's just to hot, I have worn shorts and tennis shoes. Depending on the cottonmouth population.

That's not true.

I like the dry weave stuff Cabelas sells (about $200). Light enough you forget you have them on...yet durable. I'll never buy rubber or neoprene waders again.
