We had a lot of requests for the #5 Montana traps, so we had some more made. They've been very popular with the beaver and wolf trappers. They are the same design (dog-less) as the #3 Montana's, with heavy base plate, and 7 1/2" jaw spread.

You can click on our banner ad on the 'Wilderness Forum' here on T-man, and navigate to the traps.

And, Yes, I'm only going to a few conventions this year: NV, WY, WSDTA, and MT., so I won't be seeing many of you.

I'm very busy in the field with predator control year-round, and only have so much time. Our new catalog will be out soon though.

With coyote and 'cat prices pretty darn good overall, we are seeing an increase in trappers.

We are also hosting the Wyoming Rendezvous in Lusk, WY. August 24-25. Would love to see some of you there. We had people from 13 states there last year, and it was the biggest convention in the west. This year will be even bigger.

We'll have an updated list of demos and such on the Wyoming State Trappers Asssoc. Facebook page soon. (Yes, it has evolved into a FB thing too these days I'm sorry).

Thanks to all. John

Hi John,
Long time no see. I plan to be at the WTA convention, have already gotten a room at Dales place.
We appreciate you coming to the WSDFHA convention on Sept. 9th.
I see you have us listed as the WSDTA instead of the Western SD Fur Harvesters Association. We are always glad to have you no mater what you call us!
Thanks again and see you in August,
Larry

Silky,
WSDFHA convention is at the Custer county fair grounds in Hermosa which is a few miles south of Rapid city.
Hope to see you there.

The outside jaw spread of the #5 Montana trap is 7 3/8"

The inside is 7"

Larry, sorry for the mistake. I guess I 've been calling it the WSDTA for awhile. If I'd won a gun with your logo on it by now, I'd remember! Mayne this year.

See you in Lusk in August.

John, No problem Tuffy and I have had a few laughs about that. In fact Tuff has a real collectors item silver belt buckle with WSDTA on it from last years convention!!
We will make sure you get another chance to win a Henry rifle at the Sept convention. This years Henry has a skunk engraved on the stock with WSDFHA logo. We were discussing what animal to do this year and realized that we have done about every fur bearer except a skunk. Its a 22 caliber with an octagon barrel and I put the large loop lever on it.

You better not let Riley buy a ticket cause as lucky as he is he will win it!

See you August 24th in Lusk.
