Just got back from the Va. trappers convention. Though I was going to have to go out and buy a jacket. Boy it was nice up there. Little over 90 here today, I believe that the coolest it been in almost three weeks at my house. Not seen a rain at the house in a month. Rains south of us and west running up the river. Sound like rain that way now, still dry here.

Sure can dry up some beaver ponds right now. And unless your out early don't see to many snake either, to hot for them.

96 + High Humidity = 117 deg here now. I am miserable, BBQ'd enough meat for a week-1/2, now hiding at the library cooling off.

Just spent 1/2 hr in the men's room at the library with like 8 guy's, and 6 screaming kids for a Tornado alert! Oh what fun!

It is humid and in the mid to high 80's here. It is hail season here. It doesn't take a lot of these to make a mess.

heat and humidity are a way of life in the south. I hate it but it is what it is. That cold you northern trappers deal with in winter would do me in. I wear those Russell, Nike and Under Armor wick away shirts that evaporate the sweat and helps cool you off. Wearing a bullet proof vest in this heat will knock your Willy in the dirt quick, fast and in a hurry.

I'll take winter every time!

That sucks.

I guess I can't take the heat like I use too, made it through work but almost didn't make it home, been sick ever since. Almost went to the doc but been almost 3 hours since I got off and feel a little better now. I use to be able too handle it well.

I love hot weather. Played 36 holes of golf today and worked in the woods for 4 hours this afternoon and evening. Was soaked with sweat when I came out but I would rather have that then the cold!!!!

Heat stroke is no joke, it will kill you dead.

Whatever combines to produce it is a mystery because very healthy athletes can go hard in the same conditions for years and then one day they keel over and die.

I was getting concerned when my ears started to ring and I start have muscle cramps and vomiting. I got a bad head ach now but think it from getting sick a few times. I work 4 10s so I am done for the week any way. Hope yo good as new by morning got plenty to do at the house.

Hope it all works out well. I have been hospitalized 2x for heat stroke. The thing is that as you start to get it your body sends more blood to your internal organs so you start to feel better.

You ever lived in a deciduous forest with your house in the bottom of a holler? I bet you wouldnt want higher humidity if you ever lived in 98 degrees with 96% humidity!

I was in Kzoo in August two years ago. Second most miserable place I've ever been! Maui was the worst!

Even Alabama and Vietnam were not as miserable
