Very few insects were active on the milkweed flowers in today's 90+*F weather. I saw one honeybee while camera scouting for butterflies and got a photo of it feeding.

Stay safe in the heat and humidity if you are in the path of this July's oven.

Nice. Our hives have been very busy. Went out with the wife picking raspberries tonight and came across a patch of milkweed that had a few Monarchs flying around in it.


Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell
