Miss Sharon,working in the stone industry forever has led to me having the heaviest lawn east of the Mississipi i swear.and round up extended control once a year.hate it really,only place i use weedkiller.

Miss Sharon,working in the stone industry forever has led to me having the heaviest lawn east of the Mississipi i swear.and round up extended control once a year.hate it really,only place i use weedkiller. Well its a great heavy lawn ! I like stone and wood for lounging outside rather than grass anyway. The stones here are full of varied colours and black grout just makes the contrast lovely. Its time consuming collecting rock of size for a walkway or sitting spot, but very worth it. In summer they are cool for the feet and always beautiful. Easy to plow snow off in winter. Never need re sanding or staining. Your chooks like the cool feel of standing on them in the heat of summer too. Happy crowd in the yard for sure !
