yeap, my favorite shroom. and x2 what mr morris said.
chants are pretty easy to identify. they smell almost fruity and the underneath should look like molten flowing metal basically(which is what you have). not gills!

I will have to ask around and see if their are any pickers in my area. If I was to do a "walk along" for some first hand Identification. Then I would eat what they ate. smile

Found these down near a spring by the house. Do you rinse the dirt off or just cook them as is?
